So What's Up?

by Mike Hatton's MJHQ

about

Bassist Mike Hatton's MJHQ is a jazz/blues based project that began in 2007 and has evolved into a collective which has a piano trio at its core. The original line up consisted of a quintet, adding saxophone and guitar to the line up, and which produced the 2009 album So What’s Up? (Rehab Records) – a collection of eight original compositions that encompasses some pleasingly funky elements along with more melodic instrumental approaches.
